Removing the OzioGallery footer

When Ozio Gallery is used within Joomla pages, the component displays a footer
OzioGallery2 by Joomla.it

If you search the source, you will not find the text as it is encoded (with base 64) within
“\administrator\components\com_oziogallery2\css\ozio.css”

1. Use http://ostermiller.org/calc/encode.html to decode the encoding in the css file.
2. Then remove the text that is not wanted and encode again.
3. Then paste it back to the css file, replacing the original text.

Note: For OzioGallery3, the folder structure seems to have changed. The ozio.css file for OzioGallery3 is located within the folder "administrator\components\com_oziogallery3\assets\css".

How to remove Oziogallery3 by Joomla.it in the new version for Joomla1.7. It does not have a css folder inside com_oziogallery3 folder.

Please help me out if you can, even-though I know it is pretty difficult to solve it.

Just checked out Oziogallery3. It looks like they have changed the folder structure slightly in Oziogallery3. The ozio.css file can be found in the folder "administrator\components\com_oziogallery3\assets\css"

At ozio 3 is footer link in zip file, which is in components/com_oziogallery3/oziogallery.zip

- Unzip /components/com_oziogallery3/oziogallery.zip and you will see file "oziogallery.php".

- Edit file, for example change "false" to "True" in line: $GLOBALS["oziogallery3"]["registered"] = False;

- You can also remove first line to "Die" check.

- Zip file again to oziogallery.zip...Voila´, you have registered version.

Hi, I am using Ozio Gallery 3

I tried, but when I upload the package it gives this error:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function JPATH_COMPONENT() in plugins/content/ozio/ozio.php on line 211

the method works fine, thanks ;]

The solution is to do not unzip the package. Open it from the ZIP and then just update it without unzipping
